16/11/2022 (Staff Post - Iain Cunningham )

The Renfrewshire Social Enterprise Census Dashboard is an in-depth look of social enterprise activity in Renfrewshire. The dashboard reports on the scale, reach and contribution of social enterprise activity across Renfrewshire.

The RenSEN was launched back in 2019, holding its first inaugural meeting at the Scotland’s Bravest Manufacturing Company, based in Erskine hospital.

Since then the network membership has doubled in size from 60 members to now in excess of 120 and still growing.

The network aims to support new and existing Social enterprises by, providing a platform to encourage networking, collaborations and partnerships as well as sharing good practice via peer support.

The network also invites guest speakers to deliver sessions covering a wide range of relevant topics to raise awareness and support development opportunities.

Iain Cunningham, Third Sector Development Officer from Engage Renfrewshire said; “We are very fortunate to work alongside committed members of our communities who have set up social enterprises to fill gaps in provision and at the same time employ local people”.
