Morrison Construction contractors’ donations give a much needed lift to two local lucky SE’s

Long established construction company Morrison’s have supported local causes with the help of Engage Renfrewshire.

The generous contractor donated cheques, to two local Social Enterprise’s each securing £1,000 of pounds to both Twist & hit and Lochwinnoch community pantry.

Morrison’s Construction have been assisted by Engage Renfrewshire, who help local contractors to fulfil community benefit requirements - part of the tendering and procurement process that Renfrewshire Council includes when awarding contracts to suppliers. Engage also support local social enterprise development.  

Sarah McNeill from Twist & hit said; “A Huge thanks to Morrison’s construction for selecting us here at Twist and Hit, we have recently launched a programme for toddlers with this funding we can offer more free and family discounted spaces.

Tori Bell from the Lochwinnoch pantry said, this fantastic news and it has come just at the right time as we are expanding out network and the funding will go towards refurbishing our units into friendly shopping experiences

This is a much needed upgrade that we have been wanting to do for a while but until now didn’t have the resources.
