IN-Ren and Engage Renfrewshire are delighted to host two free online training seminars through Microsoft Teams. The aim of the seminars is to give participants an introduction cultural awareness and community engagement to advance race equality through a series of talks, quizzes and interactive discussions.
The sessions will cover:
• An introduction to communities in the area to give a better understanding of community demographics.• An overview of perceived barriers faced by some communities in accessing local services.• An understanding of biases - conscious and unconscious through case studies.
Training is provided by CEMVO Scotland.
You will then be emailed an access link.
Handouts and training materials will be circulated to those that attended the session after the training finishes.
