Supporting children and young people who have a family member in prison which is being held online via Microsoft Teams on Wednesday 11 June, 9:30am – 12:30pm.
The session covers:
- The varying needs of children and young people with a family member in prison
- Policies to support and protect children who are affected by imprisonment – specifically the UNCRC and relevant articles for children with a parent in prison
- How to apply this knowledge when supporting children and young people who are affected by imprisonment or know how to seek appropriate support
