Steps Forward
A comprehensive 6-week programme, starting October 2026, designed for parents looking to enhance their confidence, improve everyday life skills, and take proactive steps towards training or employment.
Course Details; School-hours sessions in small friendly groups | 32 hours of total support
What’s included:
• 24 hours of group sessions (4 hours per week)
• School-hours sessions in small friendly groups (maximum of 7 people)
• 4 Hours 1:1 support
• 4 Hours post-course aftercare
Training includes; Money management and cooking on a budget | Confidence and motivation | Transferable skills | Managing back to work anxieties | CVs that work | Interview techniques | Online learning
Opportunities; Volunteer opportunities at Salvation Army Renfrew Donation Centre and Charity Shops in Renfrew, Paisley and Johnstone
