Challenging Racism from a White Privilege Perspective - Online Seminars

IN-Ren and Engage Renfrewshire are delighted to host five free online training seminars through Microsoft Teams. The aim of the seminars is to give participants an understanding of what white privilege is, and how it can present itself. It will also provide an understanding of various forms of racism, as well as racial bias and the issues affecting black people.

The seminars will cover:

• An introduction to communities in the area
• Defining White Privilege
• The impact on black, Asian, and minority ethnic communities
• Reflecting on our behaviours

The seminar will examine systemic racism, what it is and how it can impact our everyday lives. It will also explore what good allyship looks like and how people can work towards this to create a fairer society for all. Training is provided by CEMVO Scotland. Click here to download the flyer.
