Saltire Summit Award
Do you have a young volunteer who has excelled in the last months and you’d like to celebrate their achievement? Why not nominate them for a Summit Award!
Summit Awards aren’t exclusively for those volunteers who have committed the most hours to an organisation, they’re for those who have exceeded expectations and gone above and beyond.
We showcased a fantastic cohort of Summit Awards winners at our Volunteers Week event in June, and we're excited that successful nominees for this round will be celebrated at RYV's Positive About Youth awards in November. This will be a night of glitz and glamour at Paisley's Town Hall and a real chance to celebrate our young people making an impact across Renfrewshire.
Remember that Saltire Awards are open to all young people aged 12-25, including the Summit Award. For more information or to nominate a young person today please see the website: https://saltireawards.scot/info-for-organisations/summit-award or get in touch.
Transport is one of the biggest barriers our young people face in being able to attend Who Cares Scotland groups. This role has a focus on picking up young people and driving them to our office in St. James Street, Paisley where the group is based and then returning them home after the session.
This role will involve interacting with primary aged young people at our fortnightly sessions as well as at our national events that happen throughout the year. There could be opportunities to support the group work between pick-ups and drops-offs.

- Supporting youth group sessions
- Supporting young people’s sense of belonging and connection
