- Women in Business Renfrewshire Building Confidence Workshop – Business Gateway Renfrewshire will be hosting this in-person event on 24 October (6-8:30pm). The workshop (led by an experienced business and life coach) is designed to help you gain clarity, focus, and the motivation needed to succeed in business and life. Booking details can be found here.
- During November Just Enterprise will be running workshops on Charitable Trading and Establishing a Trading Subsidiary. If you can’t make these sessions, they’ll be running again in January (evening session) and February 2025.
- Need to recruit new board members? This Just Enterprise workshop (19 November) will help you through the process.
- Steps to Net Zero Videos - You can find all five webinar recordings delivered as part of Just Enterprise’s Steps to Net Zero series here. Webinar topics include: Energy and Buildings and Engaging with Net Zero
- Culture & Business Scotland and The Audience Agency are partnering to deliver an event on 30 October (Building a better data landscape) which will look ‘at how the culture sector can use data to better serve its audiences. For more info, click here (Fees apply).

The team behind NHS National Community Benefit Gateway need your help!
Have you applied for community benefits through the portal? Or perhaps you’re not sure how to apply…either way, NHSGCC Public Health want to hear from you.
They’re asking Third Sector organisations to share their experience of accessing (or not) the community benefit portal to better understand how groups learn about / use the site.

To encourage take-up of community benefit opportunities, NHSGCC Public Health and Supplier Development Programme are offering free training to help organisations submit compelling bids for support.

Social Enterprise Scotland
SES are hoping that by prioritising rural social enterprises for the fully-funded Community Learning Exchanges on 06 November, that this will allow those from further away to attend the Social Enterprise Summit on 07 November in Edinburgh. Spaces are limited though and there is a deadline on applying (TODAY, 01 October).
The Social Enterprise Scotland Summit is a three-day programme of events, from the 6th to the 8th of November.
On the 6th of November, SES will be hosting three community learning exchanges, offering a fully-funded focused learning experience. The CLEs are initially open to applications until TODAY Tuesday 1 October. Priority will be given to social enterprises, particularly those where travel costs are a barrier to attending. Travel, accommodation and subsistence will be funded up to a certain amount, please see the link below for more details on this.

On 07 November, the Annual Social Enterprise Summit and Social Enterprise Awards Scotland Reception will be taking place. Come along during the day for the Summit, and later that evening, at the Scottish Parliament for the Awards Reception, hosted by Paul Sweeney MSP. This event celebrates the outstanding contributions of social enterprises across Scotland. Social Enterprise Scotland will be announcing the winners of their awards, recognising excellence and innovation in the sector.
