UK disorder – DEAR group (Diversity Equality Alliance in. Renfrewshire) - update
An extended DEAR group meeting has taken place which included feedback from various local and national support organisations. Although the feedback was informal, those in attendance addressed their concerns regards the recent UK disorder.
Police Scotland’s officers present at the meeting highlighted the ongoing efforts and support provided across Renfrewshire aimed at addressing these issues and there was consensus that clearer communication about the regular equalities work happening in Renfrewshire would be useful to all. It was agreed that a number of the issues raised at the meeting would be shared with appropriate departmental contacts within Renfrewshire’s community planning partnership.

Be part of The Big Scottish Peer Support Survey!
Are you or do you know a group, service or activity that hosts one-to-one or group mental health peer support?
Scottish Recovery Network want to work with you to make sure mental health peer support gets the positive recognition it deserves.
It’s an exciting time as the Scottish Government and COSLA Mental Health and Wellbeing Delivery Plan includes a commitment to champion peer support. To feed into this and to inform our work we would like to get a fuller picture of what peer support looks like in Scotland – where it’s happening, who’s doing it and what’s needed to help it grow.
Help us to share your innovation, hard work and the realities around what is needed to drive peer support forward as a key part of our mental health system by taking part in the survey via this link https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/peer-support-service-survey
