The Big Family Event will feature speakers, workshops and stalls run by SCCR as well as representatives of organisations who run family services, plus fun and creative activities that all the family can join in with. Cyrenians’ Cook School will be on hand to share cost-cutting tips, while there’s also a family yoga session and a Conversation Café.
Cyrenians CEO Ewan Aitken will kick the day off with an opening speech, while Minister for Social Care, Mental Wellbeing & Sport Maree Todd will speak after lunch. And while we’re mentioning it, lunch also is free as will be the refreshments available throughout the day.
