Want to build confidence & skills providing peer support to people affected by suicide? Make a real impact & create meaningful connections!

We’ll start with an exploration of peer support and why it has a vital role to play in suicide prevention. Then we'll look at the Creating Hope with Peer Support Pathway. This Pathway outlines four key stages of the peer support relationship and journey: Connect, Explore, Hope and Support.

Who is this workshop for?

  • Peer Supporters / Workers in groups or services who want to build their confidence supporting people affected by suicide
  • People with lived experience interested in developing peer support skills

Group numbers for this workshop are deliberately low to provide a small group session where participants can discuss challenges, shape solutions and exchange skills and ideas.

Renfrewshire Council are currently running a consultation on the equality outcomes which is focused on making Renfrewshire fairer.  There are two ways to get involved, either by completing the online survey, or attending one of our face-to-face sessions at the end of October:

Voting for the People’s Choice Award is now live!

With almost 4 weeks to go until the Social Enterprise Awards Scotland reception, we're excited to launch voting for the People’s Choice Award - brand new for 2025!

Whilst the winners of the other award categories are chosen by our panel of judges, the People’s Choice Award is decided completely by you! The People’s Choice Award is your opportunity to celebrate the inspiring organisations and individuals transforming lives and communities across Scotland.

Whether it’s tackling social challenges, protecting the environment, or building stronger communities, every one of this years' finalists is making a big difference. But only one can win the People’s Choice Award, and that decision is up to you!

Voting closes at 12pm on Monday 20 October. Click the button below to vote for your favourite finalist.
