National Lottery AI Advice
As artificial intelligence (AI) becomes more prevalent globally, it prompts important questions about the role it should play in people's lives and how it is used responsibly and ethically. To address these questions we at The National Lottery Community Fund have defined our own set of AI principles to demonstrate our commitment to using AI to benefit people and communities.
The rise of AI has the potential for a profound impact on the way we work. We hope that adopting, developing and deploying AI will help us make the best of the talents of our people and the communities we work with. We have brought together people from across our organisation and, with the support of external experts, developed these principles which are deeply embedded in our organisational values. We hope that they will also support others in the voluntary and community sector to understand their own journey with AI.

Charity Regulation Review
A public consultation on a review of charity regulation ran from 29 April to 22 July 2024, based on a Scottish Government commitment to work with stakeholders to develop the scope of a potential review.
The consultation sought views on whether there needs to be a review of charity regulation and, if so, what the purpose and parameters of a review should be.
In total, 163 responses were received 80 of which were from organisations and 83 from individuals. The analysis also included notes collated from nine consultation events.

The survey asks you about your role, working conditions, how you feel about being a PA and what you think needs to happen to better support PAs and their Employers.
This is the third time the Scottish PA Workforce Survey has been carried out over the past few years, and the information gathered from previous surveys has been used to inform work to support PAs and Employers across Scotland. So please make sure your voice is counted.
If you completed the survey in the past, it’s really important you do it again this year – we want to understand what might have changed for you.
If you didn’t do it last time, we still really want to hear from you, so please take time to do the survey this year.
The survey is anonymous and takes around 10-15 minutes to complete.
It can be accessed any time up till 9am on Monday 5 May.
