Erskine Arts in partnership with Engage Renfrewshire are hosting a Youth Volunteering Celebration evening on Friday 07 June from 6-8pm in conjunction with Volunteers Week 2024. The event will be held at Erskine Arts, Erskine Arts - About.
We would like to extend the invite to your organisation as well as any youth volunteers (age 12-25) you have been supporting over the past year.
What will be involved: -

  • Saltire/Youth Volunteering Awards presentation (they don’t need to be signed up to Saltire Awards)
  • Spotlight on local organisations/volunteering activity the young people of your organisation have been doing. Ideally we would ask for one or two young people from each organisation to present as we want this to be youth led. It could be a short video/photo slide or a young person talking about their experience. Of course there is no pressure here, I know this is a big ask!
  • Stalls showcasing your organisation with any promotional material you wish to bring.
  • Music performances from local young people.

We are still in the early planning stages of this event. Our ask to you is:

  • If you would like to have a stall on the evening please let us know by Wednesday 06 March
  • If you would like to nominate any young person you have been supporting over the past year to attend please let us know by Wednesday 06 March (Young people will have a plus one)
  • If you/your youth volunteers would like to do a short spotlight on the evening please let us know by Wednesday 06 March.

If you would like to be involved or find out more information, please get in touch with Louise:  lwalker@engagerenfrewshire.com.
