Active Communities
Youth Development Worker
We are looking for a passionate and committed Youth Development Worker to join our team. In this role, you will support children and young people in their personal, social, health, and wellbeing development through guidance, mentoring, peer education, and structured activities. You will help plan and deliver engaging programmes, build trusted relationships, and support young people to develop confidence, skills, and a sense of belonging.

  • Salary: £28,392 pro rata / £15.60 per hour
  • Hours 21 hours per week
  • Based: Station Seven, Johnstone and Gallowhill, Paisley
  • Special conditions: Normal working week will be Tuesday to Thursday, with early evening finish and some evening and weekend work as youth work develops.

A satisfactory PVG check for adults and children will be required.

Community Food Coordinator
​We are looking for a Community Food Coordinator to support the delivery of food pantry services and help ensure local people can access quality food in a welcoming, well-organised setting. Working across our mobile and static pantry services, you’ll play an important role in coordinating food provision, supporting community members, and helping maintain high standards of service and food safety.

  • Salary: £27,300 pro rata / £15 per hour
  • Hours: 21 hours per week
  • Based: Station Seven, Johnstone with travel to Paisley
  • Special conditions: Evening and weekend work may be required
