You First Advocacy
Advocacy Worker
This Advocacy Worker post will contribute effectively to the You First Advocacy Service, which provides independent issue-based Advocacy support to vulnerable individuals in the community and in hospitals, who require assistance to represent themselves. The Advocacy Worker post holder will be required to clearly show an understanding of the concept of Advocacy and associated issues, with both experience of working within an Advocacy Service and being able to demonstrate excellent Advocacy practitioner knowledge and skills being desirable. It is essential that you have knowledge and experience of Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and other generic service user groups.
Lead Advocate
This new Lead Advocate post will contribute effectively to the You First Advocacy Service, which provides independent issue-based Advocacy support to vulnerable individuals in the community and in hospitals, who require assistance to represent themselves. The Lead Advocate post holder will be required to clearly show an understanding of the concept of Advocacy and associated issues, based on experience of working within an Advocacy Service, being able to demonstrate excellent Advocacy practitioner knowledge and skills.
As a Lead Advocate, the post holder will be required to provide daily support, advice and guidance for team members and to mentor new advocates, volunteers and students.

Family Support Worker - Inverclyde
We are recruiting a Family Support Worker to support the delivery of Inverclyde Family Support Service. The post-holder will be responsible for maintaining and delivering a range of support services in Inverclyde to families and support groups affected by someone else’s substance use, ensuring an effective response to the needs of support groups and evaluating and demonstrating the impact of our services. This includes facilitating family support groups, working with individuals on a one-to-one basis, addressing specific issues, and working in partnership with partner organisations, families, and communities in the delivery of this initiative across Inverclyde.

Senior Childcare Worker
The Senior Childcare Worker will provide leadership to the childcare team, ensuring the delivery of a quality experience for the children and families within our family centre. The successful candidate will have SCQF Level 7 SVQ Social Services Children and Young People/ HNC Early Education and Childcare or equivalent and be willing to work towards SCQF level 9 BA Childhood Practice or equivalent.
The ability to lead the childcare team to plan and deliver a range of activities for children, good communication skills and a working knowledge of GIRFEC Wellbeing Indicators,
