Peer and Involvement Coordinator South
You will be part of Scotland’s leading charity providing support to people with chest, heart and stroke conditions to live life to the full again. Our Community Healthcare Support services form a nationwide network of local support groups, nurses, volunteers and one-to-one support teams helping families adjust to life with a heart or lung condition or after a stroke. We are looking for a Peer and Involvement Coordinator to join our amazing Peer, Participation and Engagement team. The Peer and Involvement Coordinators support and build positive relationships with and between our partnered Peer Support Groups. You will provide advice and guidance to the Peer Support Groups in your coordinator area, connecting them with relevant services, activities and networks locally. You will manage CHSS Peer Volunteers responsible for clusters of Peer Support Groups in your geographic area. Closes 25 September
Stepping Stones for Families
Family Group Worker
The Family Group Worker will work alongside children, young people and parents/carers to develop a range of local peer networking opportunities, financial literature sessions with children and young people and child led financial inclusion as an integral part of the whole family support work. The group work is designed to develop strategies for growth which respond to identified needs for individual families and young people to age 18years. This work is carried out within the context of the Promise, Getting it Right for Every Child (GIRFEC) – Wellbeing Indicators and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
