Mark Macmillan is Chief Executive Officer of Kibble, one of the UK’s leading child and youth care charities providing specialist care, education, and therapeutic services for young people, families, and communities. Mark brings extensive senior leadership experience across public service and the third sector, with a strong track record of building effective partnerships, driving strategic change, and delivering improved outcomes for communities.

Prior to this role, Mark served as Leader of Renfrewshire Council from 2012 to 2017, where he led major initiatives focused on economic regeneration, social inclusion, and expanding employment opportunities to support long-term, sustainable growth. In 2016, he was recognised for his contribution to public life when he was named Scottish Local Politician of the Year.

In his current role, Mark is committed to improving outcomes and creating opportunities for children and young people who have experienced trauma and/or adversity. His leadership is driven by a strong commitment to innovation, collaboration, and continuous service improvement that transforms the lives of young people, families and communities.
