Jim Gillespie

Jim has been Kibble’s CEO since 2016 and has 20 years’ experience as a senior leader within the residential care sector.

Jim has a wealth of experience in providing consultancy on policy development and implementation to governments, both in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

Jim is an active contributor to the YPO Leadership Group, which focuses on business transformation, leadership and empowerment, and previously part of E3M Leaders Club which is an initiative that supports a group of leaders from the largest and most successful UK social enterprises.

In 2006, Jim was awarded a Butler Trust Award by Her Royal Highness Princess Anne and has an MBA.

In 2021, Jim was awarded IoD (Industry of Directors) Scotland Regional Director of the Year (Glasgow & the West). In 2022, Jim won HR Networks CEO of the Year.

Jim is a Board member in Engage and CCPS (Coalition and Care Support Providers) Scotland.

Jim also co-produced an academic paper with external risk management consultant Dr Kevin Pollock on Organisational Resilience.

Jim has relationships with many external partners and stakeholders such as COSLA, Scottish Government, UK Government, and CYC-Net.
