Trustee Recruitment Support

This sequence of two workshops will support a cohort of up to 8 charities in getting ready to go live with trustee recruitment. This includes getting ready to make use of LinkedIN as part of the method for reaching a wider audience of potential new trustees.

Workshop 1 - 28 April 10am - 11am

Workshop 2 - 12 May 10am - 11am

There will be follow-up actions for the cohort to complete between workshop 1 and workshop 2, to take forward the action plan we discuss in workshop 1.

By the end of workshops, the cohort of charities will be ready to put into action the steps to activate their trustee recruitment.

Pre-work for workshop 1 will be to ensure you have a copy of your charity’s governing document available to bring to the online workshop.

Your organisation is well suited to join this cohort if you can answer YES to all of these questions:

1. We are a Scottish charity listed on the OSCR Charity Register, with no red flag for late filings on the Charity Register after 2022.
2. We have the legal form of a SCIO, or company limited by guarantee.
3. Someone in our charity already has a LinkedIN account and is comfortable posting on LinkedIn, which will be a key communication route involved in the “go live” stage of the trustee recruitment action plan.

(If not on LinkedIN, can you create a LinkedIN account prior to the first w/shop)

All responses due by end of the working day 5.00pm Monday 13 April. This offer is on a first come first served basis with the first 8 charities given the opportunity to participate. (A reserve list will be in place)
