The Renfrewshire Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund is now offering a two-year funding option for the first time, as part of the Scottish Government’s Fairer Funding pilot. This change aims to provide more stability and allow organisations to plan and deliver their work over a longer period.
Organisations wishing to apply for multi-year funding must now submit a Note of Interest form as the first stage in the application process. Only groups who meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the guidance will be invited to submit a full application.
These information sessions will provide a detailed overview of the new multi-year funding process, including:
- Key changes from previous one-year funding rounds
- New eligibility criteria and who can apply
- Funding limits and project expectations
- Application timelines and required documentation
- Guidance on completing the Note of Interest and full application
- Monitoring and reporting requirements across the two years

- 04 July 6pm-7pm
The sessions will also include time for questions and discussion, giving groups an opportunity to clarify how the changes affect their plans and to prepare a stronger application.
These sessions are strongly recommended for any third sector organisation or community group considering applying, particularly those unfamiliar with the new eligibility requirements or the Note of Interest process.
