RACA - Talk Money Week Information Event
10am - 12.30pm
November 7-11 is #TalkMoneyWeek2022. If, as a practitioner, you find it uncomfortable to start a conversation with clients about money, you’re not alone. Every year Talk Money Week encourages people to open up about their finances. By starting dialogue, you can help people improve their physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
RACA invite you to our Talk Money Week information event on Thursday 10 November from 10am-12.30am. This is a hybrid event where you can join us either online, or in person at the Finding Your Feet Charity Hub in the centre of Paisley (PA3 2HQ). We are delighted to announce our guest speakers as
- Sharon MacPherson, Scotcash
- Toni Clark, Social Security Scotland
- Yvonne Hughes, RACA
RACA will be launching a new guide to help you navigate the challenges of discussing money. The guide was devised in partnership with Renfrewshire HSCP Health Improvement Team. To attend either online or in person, please register here https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/talk-money-week-raca-information-session-november-2022-tickets-433545545397
Who are RACA? RACA (Renfrewshire Affordable Credit Alliance) champions fair and honest finance, so that everyone, no matter their income level, has better options that help reduce the risk of falling into problem debt.
Whether you are voluntary or public sector, if you support clients who would benefit from making improved choices about credit, then you are welcome to attend. You will hear from a range of speakers and have a chance to ask questions.
Please register on Eventbrite and an MS Teams link will be sent to you before the event. See www.raca.org.uk for further information about who we are and our aims.
We look forward to welcoming you.
