Canva Training for Community Groups

Do you help create posters, presentations, social media posts, reports or updates for your community group?

Join Ruth Anderson from Heilan Coo Scotland, who supports community groups and purpose-led organisations with websites, design and practical marketing, for a hands-on Canva session focused on posters, presentations, social media content and impact stories.

This practical training session will help you build confidence using Canva to create clearer, more engaging and accessible materials to promote your group’s work.

You will also explore how branding, logos, colours and consistent design can help people recognise and understand your group’s work, alongside practical tips on accessible communications, including readable layouts, plain language, image descriptions and alt text.

Please bring your own laptop if you have one, along with an idea of something you would like to work on during the session. This could be a poster, presentation, project update, social media post, case study or Canva design.
