Volunteering Focus - 28 August

Happy hump day!

I thought it would be nice this week to kick off the newsletter with a little Wellbeing Wednesday corner. I’m a huge fan of mindfulness, and encourage you all to take 5 minutes out of your day and watch/participate in the below mindfulness practise. Mindfulness can reduce stress levels, improve focus and concentration and improve your mental health! Why don’t you share this practise with your volunteers as well?

5 Minute Mindfulness Meditation (youtube.com)

By incorporating mindfulness into your daily routines, volunteer managers can create a more effective, compassionate, and sustainable management approach, benefiting both themselves and the volunteers they lead.
