Engage Newsletters

Keep up to date with Engage Renfrewshire

Our Children - 04 December

Our December newsletter brings requests and calls to action. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey below on Community Transport. You can complete this for your organisation, and for the individuals you support.

We have a call out from Renfrewshire Promise Champions Board to provide a Christmas gift to a care experienced young person. If you are considering making a donation this year, this is a lovely opportunity to make someone’s day special.

There are also some fantastic training opportunities for 2024 available from SAMH. These fill up fast, so be quick.

If anyone has anything they would like to share in the January newsletter, please send it to Jane – jhamilton@engagerenfrewshire.com

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a warm and restful winter break.

See you in 2024!

Renfrewshire Community Transport - Your Input Matters!

Renfrewshire Community Transport is an exciting, emerging new initiative, and we want to understand how this service could best support you and your organisation.
If you or members of your group use local transport to attend activities and appointments or if your organisation requires to hire buses from time to time we're sure that letting us know will be worth your while!
Please take a moment to fill out these two brief surveys linked below - it will only take 5 minutes—tops! There’s one for group activities and one for individual needs.

The survey will close midday Wednesday 20 December
Thank you!

Promise Champs Christmas Present Drive

“As Care Experienced young people, we know that some of us won’t receive many presents at Christmas. We want to change this to help make these young people’s Christmas feel a little more special.”Renfrewshire’s Promise Champs

OUR Promise this Christmas is…

  1. We create an amazon wish list of presents that we know other young people would love to receive.
  2. You help us by Buying the presents.
  3. We wrap the presents.
  4. We deliver these to care experienced young people around Renfrewshire.

Please support us by clicking on the link below to buy a gift for a Care Experienced young person living in Renfrewshire.

Please remember to select “Buy as Gift” and send to our Promise Champs Gift address.

The Promise Champs have put together a wish list of lots of fun, cosy, educational and creative gifts to suit children and young people aged 8-18+ ranging from as little as £3.99 – £19.99.

We will open all the parcels we receive and divide the items into bundles to create presents of equal value that suit the age and genders of each individual care experienced young person that has been registered by our Promise partners.
