Rise2gether with us and visit the Teardrop Explodes Exhibition in the Art Department Paisley. Sewing2gether All Nations will be unveiling their ‘Aye Welcome Refugees’ paisley pattern inspired banner.

Alongside this, view our previous year’s submissions for Refugee Festival Scotland; ‘One Millie All Nations’ in partnership with Journeys In Design, and ‘Paisley Conversations’ audio-visual exhibition in partnership with local community voices. A taster of the weekly creative workshops facilitated Sewing2gether All Nations will also be on display.

Rising together with us are Accord Hospice Paisley, Highpark Primary School Glasgow, Mossvale Primary School Paisley, and Sew Fabulous Castlemilk, with their personalised banners made at workshops facilitated by Sewing2gether All Nations, as part of our programme of refugee awareness raising and community engagement sessions. Scottish Veterans Wellbeing Alliance

Over the last 2 years the Scottish Veterans Wellbeing Alliance has been providing spaces and places across Scotland where veterans and families can connect. As we look forward, we want to hear the voices of veterans and their families to develop and grow a pathway for health and wellbeing support across all of Scotland.

We would love to hear about your experience of:

  • Settling in Scotland
  • The community around you
  • Accessing or receiving support

You don’t have to take part, and are able to skip any questions you do not feel comfortable answering. If you do decide to take part, you can change your mind at any time.

Tapathon 2024

StrictlyTAPTone in Renfrewshire is among those holding a “Tapathon” at midday on Sunday, November 17, to raise money for BBC Children In Need.

We are calling on members of the public to join in the bid to break the record for the largest tap dance group, with dancers at venues across the country taking part at the same time.

We’re really excited to pair up with BBC Children In Need and The Performers Project for this charity event.
It’s going to be a really fun day.

The current world record for the largest tap dance held simultaneously at different venues is 7384 participants.
Organisers at The Performers Project, the events company behind the nationwide Tapathon, are hoping to break the world record with more than 10,000 tappers, who will dance to a choreographed routine to Spice Up Your Life by The Spice Girls.
Dancers and non-dancers of all ages and abilities including Day Centres for Adults. Adults and Children with learning disabilities Children of all ages, Adults Grannies you name it are welcome to take part in this charity event in Renfrewshire…
Please 'save the date' in your calendar and let's do it!

Johnstone Day Centre is participating and we would like other venues in the area to join too!
