Loud n Prowdud Crowdfunder

This is an appeal to help Loud n Proud grow out of the ashes of an arson attack and create a music hub for young musicians and music technicians at The Kerr Building in William Street in Paisley.

Please join with Sir Rod Stewart, John McLaughlin, The Bay City Rollers, Hue and Cry, Heaven 17 and other prominent musicians and bands to help make this happen.

A word from Sir Rod Stewart and John McLaughlin - "We want to help rebuild the vandalised burnt out area in the building and build 5 fully equipped soundproof rooms for teaching, practicing and music production"

Healing Arts Festival 2024

The Healing Arts Scotland (HAS) Festival  will be taking place this August.

HAS is the first ever countrywide Healing Arts Week, happening all across Scotland 19-23 August, led by Scottish Ballet and the Jameel Arts & Health Lab in collaboration with the World Health Organization.

The aim of the week is to mobilise and strengthen local arts and health projects and organisations to address Scotland’s current health concerns. The festival is an exciting opportunity to explore the impact that the arts can have on health and learn from experts from around the globe.

Those who would like to find out more about the festival and get involved can visit the Healing Arts Scotland Website.

OSCR - Scottish Charity Register

From next year, OSCR will begin displaying the accounts for all Scottish charities on the Scottish Charity Register, and now is the time to start considering what that means for your charity.

These changes reflect the Charities (Regulation and Administration) (Scotland) Act 2023 and aim to enhance transparency, accountability and public trust in Scotland’s charitable sector. Parliament will decide the exact commencement date of this change early next year, but it is expected to be summer 2025.

Watch the video below for a quick summary of the changes, or read the full article here: Charities asked to prepare for changes to the Scottish Charity Register
