Engage IN-Ren Black History Month Awards 2023
Does your organisation or group have an idea for an event or an activity to help celebrate Black History Month and promote ant-racism in October?
Every year October marks Black History Month (BHM) in Scotland and across the UK. BHM is a celebration which recognises the achievements and contributions of people of diverse heritage around the world, and remains a powerful symbolic celebration and a time for acknowledgement, reflection, and inspiration.
IN-Ren would like to increase anti-racism and integration activity in Renfrewshire by making small awards of up to £500, to local organisations/groups to support and encourage activity that celebrates BHM during October 2023.
Applications are encouraged from voluntary, ‘not for profit’ organisations, associations, groups and clubs or consortiums/partnerships which have a strong community focus for their activities.
Closing date for application forms is 5pm, 18 August 2023

Renfrewshire Employability Grant Programme: Delivery Period August 2023 March 2024 (Round 2)
The aim of this grant programme is to support people to move towards, into and within work. To do this, we need to help local people to develop the skills and confidence employers are looking for. But to reach those people, we all need to work together at a local level to provide the best possible services to those who need them most.
In this round we are looking for organisations who don’t necessarily have a strong employability focus/remit. This includes the mental health support and the light touch work with young people and people with criminal convictions.
