Administration Officer
We are seeking an Administration Officer with good customer care experience who would like to work in a very busy office environment to carry out a wide range of admin duties. This will include collating and input of service delivery information and producing reports, maintaining data-bases and spreadsheets, preparing correspondence, taking minutes of meetings, dealing with telephone enquiries, reception duties, liaising with the team, maintaining manual and electronic filing systems, data entry and general admin duties as required.

The successful candidate will have SCQF Level 7 SVQ Social Services Children and Young People/ HNC Early Education and Childcare or equivalent and be willing to work towards SCQF level 9 BA Childhood Practice or equivalent.
The ability to lead the childcare team to plan and deliver a range of activities for children in their early years, good communication skills and a working knowledge of GIRFEC Wellbeing Indicators, Building the Ambition and the Curriculum for Excellence are essential for this post. The post requires a commitment to equality of opportunity and human rights, and will be subject to a PVG check.

Craft Class Programme at the New Paisley Central Library
To celebrate the upcoming opening of our new Paisley Central Library, we have a varied programme of events and activities planned for our community.
As part of the Library Arts Programme, we have scheduled 8 individual craft classes aimed at adults running over November and December.
All classes are free and materials and provided. Due to limited spaces, bookings are limited to a maximum of 2 per person.
There is no referral criteria for these classes – they are open to everyone in our community.

Scottish Parliament Housing Panels
We are inviting tenants and landlords in the private rented sector to apply take part in two separate lived experience housing panels. The panels will work to share ideas and experiences, and make recommendations to Members of the Local Government, Housing and Planning Committee who will scrutinise proposals that the Scottish Government is making to change the laws relating to housing.
We would be very grateful if you could widely share the information to people who may be interested.

The Committee want to hear from different people in different circumstances living in different parts of the country. To inform the selection criteria we have looked at research and data on the characteristics of private renters and landlords in Scotland. Parliament staff will recruit the panels from these responses using selection criteria.
