Jupiter + Paisley
Renfrewshire Council is partnering with Jupiter Artland to run Jupiter + Paisley, a yearlong engagement programme introducing young people to cultural producing. Public Engagement Assistant
Jupiter Artland is recruiting Public Engagement Assistants to join the JUPITER+ Paisley team, presenting an outstanding installation by Paisley-born artist Anya Gallaccio on the High Street this autumn. The Public Engagement Assistants will work onsite as invigilators, engaging members of the public, answering questions and taking care of the artwork.
Learning Assistant
This role would suit applicants embarking on a career in learning, seeking to develop delivery experience. Support and guidance will be given throughout the project to enable successful candidates to reflect and develop their skills. The learning team will be based in a purpose-built Learning Studio delivering workshops to schools, colleges and community groups. Workshops focus on critical analysis and practical making with drawing, screen and mono printing processes. Training in these areas will be provided however we are keen to seek candidates that have a confident working knowledge of basic print processes.

Our Day Services Co-Ordinators will plan and facilitate a variety of groups which includes our much-loved traditional supportive social group, drop in carer support group, wellbeing sessions and bereavement support group.

Community Link Worker (East Renfrewshire)
To work alongside GP’s, Practice staff and a wide range of local agencies to support service users to link into meaningful community networks and activities which will enhance their self-management skills build resilience and sense of personal wellbeing. The successful candidate will work using a hybrid model working either in a GP Practice or at home or a combination of both.
Youth Counsellor (East Renfrewshire)
To provide confidential counselling, which is evidence based, to 10 to 18 year olds and families in a variety of school settings, community settings telephone and or video platforms. To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in identifying and supporting young people with additional support needs. To undertake initial assessments and risk assessments of young people referred to the service.
