Youth Scotland - Senior Development Worker (Awards Growth)
Youth Scotland’s Youth Awards accredit the achievement of thousands of young people every year. But we want to do more! We are now embarking on an exciting new phase of Awards development which will expand the Awards into new markets, enhance our use of digital options and ensure that our awards meet young people’s emerging needs.
We want to recruit a skilled and passionate individual who can lead these new developments, using their skills in business and systems development for a social purpose. Success will mean even more young people can benefit from our awards.

Celebrating 10 years of Community Jobs Scotland
The Community Jobs Scotland (CJS) programme is coming to an end as a national programme. It has been really successful for both the young participants and the organisations that employ them.
As we look back on more than 10 years of the CJS programme, I'd like to share our evaluation report with you. The report shows the amazing work that SCVO's CJS team has done with voluntary organisations across Scotland to make CJS one of the most successful employability programmes Scotland has ever had. It demonstrates why I’m so disappointed that national funding has been withdrawn from something that worked so well.

Want to try out some vegetarian/vegan dishes? Want to know how to V your diet? Vegetarian/Vegan for Life’s (V for Life) roving chef is hosting a one-off free taster session in the Williamsburgh Housing Association’s community flat 0/2, 10 Lang Street. The session is on 21st April 2022 starting at 1.30pm and finishing at 2.30pm.
“The training days were a great way to learn new recipes and come up with new ways to serve plant-based dishes!”
“I would love to hear from other vegetarians and vegans because it’s quite lonely really. You don’t meet people very often who understand our views and lifestyle. It sounds super!”
Did we say it was free? To book a place for the session please contact Stuart Miller at Williamsburgh Housing Association on email@example.com
