Engage Daily Update - 27 May
NHS - IMPORTANT UPDATE – YOUR COVID VACCINE
In the past day or so we have received lots of calls from members of the public looking for information on how to arrange the second dose of their vaccine.
Unfortunately, the number people are calling is incorrect, so we would like to make sure you have the right information.
If you are looking for information about your second appointment please visit NHS Inform. If you no longer have your first appointment letter, please use the ‘recover username’ option when asked to do so. Work is ongoing to reduce the wait for a second appointment from 12 to eight weeks, and we hope to be able to offer this shorter timescale by the middle of June.
If you are over 30 years old and looking for your first appointment please call the National Helpline on 0800 030 8013.
If you are aged between 18 and 29 years, please register to receive your vaccine by visiting register.vacs.nhs.scot.
Remember, getting the vaccine is the best way to help beat the virus and get the country back to normal, so we would strongly encourage everyone who receives an invitation to go along to their appointment, or if you are aged between 18 and 29 to register for your first dose.

Crossroads Derbyshire supports women, men, children and young people who suffer from or are at risk of domestic abuse in the High Peak and North Derbyshire Dales. It provides a special refuge provision for young women at risk and works with women and men to deal with immediate danger and put a safety plan in place.
The charity delivers services that meet the complex needs of families experiencing abuse and social exclusion. It supports people who leave abusive relationships and helps them develop the emotional and practical skills they need to improve their quality of life, develop more positive relationships and live free from abuse.
