Effective Leadership for Volunteer Managers - Free CPD training available to members of Engage Renfrewshire - tailored seminars exploring leadership as a key skill for volunteer managers & coordinators. This offer is to be delivered by a leadership professional and spaces are limited to ensure a high quality interactive learning session for those in attendance. It is open to both experienced and newer volunteer leaders, be they paid staff or those who lead their volunteer teams as a volunteer themselves.

The Bridge & CYP developments in Renfrewshire - follow up info
The Bridge follow up session is scheduled for Thursday 6 May at 10am. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in attending and we will provide the MS Teams link.
The Bridge is the working title for a cross-sector systems change process aimed at de-medicalising CYP mental health issues, while reinforcing community and family based supports for those aged 5-24.
We’ll be discussing opportunities and challenges and how your organisation can get involved in this exciting piece of work.
Community Safety Research: Learning Event 28 April or 6 May - 11am-12.30pm
'Cognitive Therapy for Moral Injury in PTSD with Dr Hannah Murray' on 03 June 2-4pm. Although the webinar is open access without a formal application process or limit on numbers, it is designed for trauma specialist clinicians who are already experienced in the use of trauma focused cognitive behavioural therapy (TF-CBT).
Impact Funding Partners - Social Isolation & Loneliness Fund
This fund is available to local organisations to enable them to support older people (aged 55+) who may be at risk of social isolation, loneliness or reduced wellbeing due to Covid-19 and the impact of restrictions.
Eligible costs include: Staff costs, volunteers, premises/overhead contributions, transport, activity, small items of equipment and food costs. Eligible activities must take place between 24th May and 27th August 2021.Closing date: 30th April 2021

The Alpkit Foundation support support grass-roots direct action projects that tackle issues such as the community response to Covid 19, diversity & inclusion in the outdoors, participation, education, conservation and protection of our natural environment and health & well-being.

Fund aims: To remove the barriers in getting outdoors and experience wild places.

Princes Trust Programme
The new Prince’s Trust programme is now finalised. It will start on Monday 31 May and run Monday to Thursday. Please find attached an information sheet that will include what we will be delivering.
