Renfrewshire Council - Climate Change Survey
Renfrewshire Council declared a climate emergency in 2019 and since then we have been working to create a programme of actions which will allow us to reach our ambitious target of Renfrewshire being net-zero by 2030.
We committed £1million to our Climate Change Action Fund to carry out feasibility studies, set up projects to make an immediate difference and support engagement and consultation with our local communities and businesses.
You can see a summary of the work so far on our website here – www.renfrewshire.gov.uk/ClimateChange.
Climate Change survey
As part of this work, we are asking communities on what you think is required to tackle climate change in Renfrewshire, what the current situation is at the moment and what the barriers are to change.
We’re currently running a survey that we want local residents to complete so we have a range of views and evidence to support future decision making.
We have issued this to members of Renfrewshire’s Public Services Panel, but we want all residents to have the chance to take part and you, and your community members, can do so here – www.renfrewshire.gov.uk/ClimateChangeSurvey.
Please encourage as many people to take part as possible before the survey closes on Thursday 30 September 2021.
Renfrewshire Climate Panel
The survey will also form the recruitment process for the Renfrewshire Climate Panel as respondents will be asked if they would like to be considered as panel members.
Our research partner will support the creation of a representative panel bringing together community members from across Renfrewshire from a range of demographics.
The Panel will work with council officers to put forward their ideas, discuss ongoing and future projects, and ensure that the Council and the community are working together to tackle this important issue.
NHS New website Survey
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is carrying out a review of the current NHSGGC website design, content, navigation, and accessibility to ensure we continue to meet the needs and expectations of our users.
Work on a new website has already started and the new-look site is due to go live in October.
In the meantime, we want to hear from you. We’re looking for input from all website users, including our patients and the public, as well as staff from NHSGGC and other organisations.
Please take a few minutes to complete our short survey here and let us know about your experience of using the website, and what you'd like to see on our new one.
