COP26 - What we're doing locally to tackle climate change

As the COP26 unfolds on our doorstep we will be showcasing projects and organisations that are tackling environmental change head-on throughout Renfrewshire. We are also aware that many of our members have made conscious decisions to limit their environmental impact. We believe that no action is too small and would like to share these throughout the network.

If your organisation has made an environmentally geared change you can share it here: https://bit.ly/3BQiKsk

Just click on the ‘New’ button and submit your responses or browse those already submitted.

We’ll use the space as a means of celebrating local action, drawing attention to unseen issues, and hopefully inspiring others.

Funding

The Make Tiny Changes Fund is a small grants programme funding research and support innovation that will improve young people’s mental health.

Everyone is welcome to apply for the fund and grants between £2,000 to £10,000 are available to help turn an idea into impact. They especially want to hear ideas from young people under 30. If you’re over 30, they encourage you to share your idea with at least one young person under 30 to get their take on it.

The deadline to submit your idea is 10 November 2021. Successful proposals will then be invited to submit a full application with final decisions due in January 2021.

To find out more and submit your idea, visit the Tiny Changes website.

Tiny Changes was set up to support people and projects that positively impact young people’s mental health.
