My Paisley, My Stories aims to provide an opportunity for local people to share their views on how Paisley is represented in the media through a series of online workshops. My Paisley, My Stories is part of a doctoral research project currently being undertaken at the University of the West of Scotland. How do you feel about how Paisley has been represented in the media? Online Events

Celebrate Culture 2021 celebrates the diversity of nationalities enrolled at UWS, whilst promoting Scottish culture. Engaging with the local community and Renfrewshire’s Ethnic Minority Cultural Steering group, the event aims to develop a shared understanding of ethnic and cultural differences through a range of different events, activities and promotions throughout the week of 22 – 26 March.

The week starts with the New Buddies Network Officer’s monthly Engage in Conversation session – Learning and Living in Renfrewshire (22 March 4-5pm)

Funding

Scottish Government - Grants are available to support voluntary and community sector organisations with established device refurbishment and distribution programmes to build their capacity to get additional devices out to people unable to cover the purchase costs themselves.
   
Arnold Clark - Grants are available for UK registered charities and local community groups who need financial assistance due to the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic
