If you are homeless or at risk of having nowhere to stay help is at hand - Paisley Daily Express
People across Renfrewshire are being encouraged to ensure they are aware of the support available for anyone who becomes homeless, or is at risk of becoming homeless, during winter. The festive period can see a rise in people presenting as homeless so, as part of Renfrewshire Council’s #RenReady campaign, the local authority is aiming to highlight the support available. Anyone who finds themselves without a place to stay, or it is not safe for them to return to their accommodation, can be provided with temporary housing and should call 0141 618 7200 during office hours or 0800 121 4466 at all other times.

Renfrewshire: Karen Devine-Kennedy launches autism campaign – The Gazette
A Renfrewshire councillor with an autistic son has launched a campaign to make the area a more welcoming place for children with the condition. Karen Devine-Kennedy has put forward a motion that will be considered at a full council meeting tomorrow, asking for communication boards to be installed in local parks. The boards have a number of images and symbols on them that help kids with autism say how they are feeling and what they want to do.
