Waverley Care Young People's Panel
Waverley Care strives to ensure that people’s voices are heard throughout our work, and we engage with the communities we work with to ensure the services we provide are exactly what people want and need.
Now we are bringing together a young people’s panel to help us develop and improve our services for under 25s across Scotland.
While structure and priorities will be decided by the young people involved, the panel will aim to:
- ensure that the needs of service users under 25 are met
- have input into strategic planning and service development
- ensure that young people’s voices are heard and represented across all areas of our work
- work with partner agencies to represent young people across Scotland, to influence policy and practice within HIV, Hep C, sexual health and relationships.
We are currently recruiting for initial panel members, aged 16-25 and living anywhere in Scotland. Closing date is Friday 5th February and details of how to apply are found within the recruitment pack.
