Engage Staffing Update
Good news: we’re delighted to announce that Alice McBride has been appointed as the Community Mental Health & Wellbeing officer, commencing in January 2022. Alice has been fulfilling the Volunteer Development and Marketing Officer role since November 2019, and has achieved a great deal in championing volunteering in Renfrewshire during that time.
In her new role, Alice will be supporting organisations who apply to the Community Mental Health & Wellbeing funding, as well as developing strong cross-sector links and organisational sustainability, in order to maximise the medium to long term benefits of the funding.
Remember you can apply for funding here https://engagerenfrewshire.org/engage-support/community-mental-health-wellbeing-fund.html
Also we are now recruiting to the Volunteer Development and Marketing Officer role. More info is here https://goodmoves.com/vacancy/a4s3z00000SfECqAAN/Volunteer-Development-and-Marketing-Officer

CREATE Paisley - Survey
We're CREATE, a youth arts charity working across Renfrewshire to support good mental health through creativity. We run social spaces and drop ins, arts workshops, events and festivals, and co-produced youth voice campaigns.
Partnering with Linstone and Active Communities, our work in Linwood and Johnstone is just starting, and we'd like to hear from and work with young people and adult community members in the area to understand how we can be a helpful resource locally.
By completing our survey YOUR VOICE can help shape future activities and support for young people in your area… and there are great prizes to be won too! Everyone that completes the survey can enter our prize draw - we have one iPad to give away to a young person and a £50 supermarket voucher for an adult winner.
