Scottish Children’s Lottery reopens
The Scottish Children’s Lottery has reopened for applications across its four grant giving SCIOs. There are no deadlines and applications are reviewed quarterly. You can apply for a small grant of up to £5,000, or for a large grant of up to £25,000.
Chance to Connect
Chance to Connect seeks to alleviate the disadvantages that many children in Scotland face. Targeting local regeneration, it aims to improve the provision of facilities, promote citizenship, and give young people across Scotland the chance to live in a safe, supportive and stimulating community.

Chance to Succeed aims to reduce the damaging effects of financial hardship, poverty, disability and illness on the next generation. Volunteer Managers’ Forum - Wednesday 20 January 14:00 – 16:00
This first session of 2021 will be an opportunity for the forum to identify priorities for 2021, discuss any event planning for the year and get an update on programmes and offers.
Team Kinetic Training for Renfrewshire Volunteer Managers - Friday 22 January, 10:00-11:30
An introductory session for any Renfrewshire volunteer managers currently using, or looking to use, our Team Kinetic website (volunteer.engagerenfrewshire.com) to promote, recruit and manage volunteers.
Saltire Awards Website Training - Friday 29 January 10:00-11:00
This digital training, to be held via Microsoft Teams, is an introductory session to the updated Saltire Awards website.
This session is open to those currently using the website, those who have utilised the Saltire Awards previously but are unsure of the new functions, and those looking to utilising Saltire Awards as a means of recognition and reward for youth volunteering.
Digiren Online Session: Wednesday 27 January from 2-3pm
DigiRen is our local community of organisations and workers who share knowledge of resources and best practice with digital technologies.
Last year was easily the busiest we have had in digital working and projects and that will certainly continue through 2021 and beyond. This January you are invited to attend our online meeting to keep up to date with digital work across Renfrewshire from our speakers. You'll also get the chance to feedback to the community about your thoughts and experiences when thinking about the year past and the one which lies before us.
