Greenspace Scotland and Engage Renfrewshire are hosting a Zoom session to give an overview of Tesco Community Grant funding, what types of projects are funded, how to apply and support we can provide. The session is up to 90 minutes to allow for questions but feel free to pop in for any length of time that works for you. There will be a presentation at the start.
Shopmobility Paisley and District is supporting a 4th year Glasgow University Student who is studying Engineering.
They are in the process of completing their final Dissertation.
Their aim is to propose development of a product(s) to help people with mobility and disability issues carry heavy items up and down stairs. Outside their house, in order to be able to get inside their house safely and with confidence with items they are struggling to carry.
So, for example, people with mobility and disabilities may live in a tenement or a residence which involves manoeuvring stairs / stairwells.
Mobility and Disability can affect us at any point in life, so please complete this survey – it’s very worthwhile. You may already know people affected by this struggle – you could answer on their behalf.
Deadline - 14 February
Many thanks - Richard Vassie, Chairperson, Shopmobility Paisley and District
