Home Heating Fund

If you live in Renfrewshire and you're struggling with your energy bills you may be able to get help through the Scottish Government Home Heating Support Scheme. You can email Advice Works on adviceworks@renfrewshire.gov.uk or telephone Renfrewshire Citizens Advice Bureau on 0141 889 2121 to find out whether you qualify for this scheme as both these organisations can make referrals.

Some key points about the fund:

  • HHSF can provide funding for people who are self-rationing heating to allow them to afford to adequately heat their home.
  • HHSF can also be used to clear supplier debt.
  • This fund is not for people in immediate crisis, such as those who have been disconnected.
  • It is currently expected to only be available until 31 March.
