Cancer Information and Support Service

Every Wednesday afternoon from the 10 February two trained Macmillan volunteers will be available from 1pm to 3pm to deliver CISS using the NHS Near me system. The volunteers will perform a similar role as to the one they undertook in the library.  The volunteers will provide a free information and support service for anyone affected by cancer.  The person may have cancer themselves, care for a relative or friend, work as a healthcare professional, or simply want to know more about cancer.

We will have five twenty minute sessions available to book each Wednesday. If you have someone you are currently working with and would benefit from attending the sessions, you or the person themselves can email macmillan@renfrewshire.gov.uk to request one of the twenty minute slots. If you are requesting a slot on behalf of someone can you please include their names and contact email to allow us to send out a link to join on the day.
