Engage Finance - HR Pack
Following feedback from clients, Engage Finance are pleased to launch a new HR pack offer. This can be purchased as an ‘add on’ to existing payroll service. Our finance team will support SDS clients with the formatting of the policies and documents within the pack so it is a finished version bespoke to you and your employees.
If you are a new employer within the Third Sector, or an individual in receipt of SDS, Engage Finance can cover it all for you from contracts, payroll, HMRC, and workplace pensions.

SCVO - The future of work from a people perspective
Many trustees will be considering how the easing of the restrictions after lockdown will affect how their organisations operate day to day. After over a year of office closures, with many staff working from home, there are a whole host of questions for trustees to consider on the future use of their premises and flexible working. Tesco Community Grants open now for applications -get your application in now! Tesco Community Grants will award funding to charities and community organisations for local projects that focus on supporting children and families. Projects that tackle food poverty are also invited to apply.

Over the last 24 weeks we have highlighted a specific funder. This week we are highlighting an organisation called BREVIO. Their aim is to “Empower the charitable sector to achieve more!” They automate the initial steps in grant applications, to free up hundreds of millions of pounds every year in administration. It’s a matching platform that links funders and charities based on the impact they both want to achieve. First Aid for Mental Health
EnvironMentalHealth CIC are delighted to have received funding from the Community Response Fund to provide training in First Aid For Mental Health to Community Volunteers and Third Sector Practitioners.
This training provides learners with comprehensive knowledge on a range of the most common mental health conditions and the skills to be able to act should any conditions be suspected. Learners successfully completing this course will be considered First Aiders for Mental Health
Upon successful completion of the training and qualification assessment, learners will be awarded the Nationally recognised and Ofqual regulated, Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health (RQF) (SCQF LEVEL 5)
We are offering 10 funded spaces to 5 organisations. The criteria is:
1 Community Practitioner
We are offering a maximum of 2 spaces to community organisations.
Dates for Training:
Online Course – Zoom - (10 spaces):
8th May - 9.30am – 2pm (including 30 minute break)
15th May - 9.30am – 2pm (including 30 minute break)
These spaces are free to Community Organisations and open to Active Community Volunteers and Community Practitioners in Renfrewshire.
