Connecting Scotland – Fast Track Applications Deadline Approaching

The latest round of applications to support the most vulnerable and digitally excluded get online is now open as part of the Scottish Government’s Connecting Scotland programme. The closing date is 5pm on Friday, 12th November 2021, however it may close early or later depending on uptake. Please don't be put off by an application as the process is really straightforward. We are here to help too.

The programme, which was set up in response to coronavirus, with the aim of getting every person in Scotland online, is now inviting ‘fast track’ applications from organisations working with people from low income, digitally excluded households who are at risk of social isolation and loneliness.

Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs is working with Renfrewshire Council and its partners to understand more about the experiences of individuals, families and the wider community in relation to alcohol and drug harm across the area.

This survey is for anyone aged 16+ years who lives or works in Renfrewshire.

We know that many people are concerned about someone else’s alcohol or drug use. However, they may feel too embarrassed, ashamed or afraid to talk to anyone else about this.

Working together, we want to hear from you about local views, issues and experiences around substance use.

This will help us reach families affected by alcohol and drugs, including those who are not in touch with support services.

All survey responses will be treated in confidence.

Please help us by filling in this survey. It should take around 10 minutes to complete.

Feel free to share this link with other family members, friends, neighbours and work colleagues who may be interested in taking part.
