Royal Blind and Scottish War Blinded have changed their names
With effect from 08 October 2020, Royal Blind changed its name to Sight Scotland and Scottish War Blinded changed its name to Sight Scotland Veterans.
Watch our brand video about our journey to become Sight Scotland and Sight Scotland Veterans.
Why have we changed?
With the growing number of people in Scotland starting to lose their sight, we know we need to act now to be there for all those across the country who are living with sight loss, and to ensure that they are fully included in society and treated equally. We believe every one of those people should be able to live a life free of boundaries.
In order do so effectively, we need to ensure that we are clearly understood by the people who need our help so that we can reach them effectively. We spent over a year carrying out research to find out how well we are understood.
What has changed?
