Engage COVID 19 Update - 12 November
12/11/2020
It’s Talk Money Week and we want to talk illegal money lenders.
Loan Sharks are bad news. They manipulate people in vulnerable situations by offering to lend them money, which has to be repaid at a massive rate of interest.
If someone you know has borrowed money illegally, please support them to report it to Trading Standards Scotland. The client remains anonymous and doesn’t need to give any details they’re not comfortable discussing. Trading Standards Scotland will keep them safe while they investigate the loan shark. Call 0800 074 0878, anytime 24/7.
