Want to help your client base by better understanding good credit choices, affordable credit options, money and problem spending?

RACA works to champion fair and honest finance – and to ensure that everyone, no matter their income level, has better options that help reduce the risk of falling into problem debt.
Whether you are voluntary or public sector, if you support clients who would benefit from making improved choices about credit, then you are welcome to attend. You will hear from a range of speakers and have a chance to ask questions.
Speakers are:
- Dermot O’Neill Chief Exec of the Scottish League of Credit Unions (SLCU). SLCU represents 31 Credit Unions of all sizes in Scotland, whose membership totals 38,000 adults and 8,000 children. Dermot is an expert in all things Credit Union.
- Chris Bennett, Commercial Manager at Fair For You, an award winning national credit provider and social enterprise. Fair For You provide essential home items such as white goods, furniture and much more with affordable, flexible credit and repayments tailored to individuals’ income.
- William Kløverød Griffiths, Programme Manager for Scotland Reducing Gambling Harm at the ALLIANCE. William will discuss ‘key questions’ for practitioners to ask to discuss problem gambling, plus the developments in gambling policy such as the ban on gambling using credit cards.
- Kevin Duffy, Partnerships Manager at Money & Pensions Service whose mission is to ensure everyone in the UK can easily access the information needed to make the right financial decisions throughout life.
You’ll also be the first to see the launch of our new animation, which will be available to use to support your client base.
