As part of Social Enterprise week 2022, Renfrewshire Social Enterprise network (RenSEN) will be promoting our new Dashboard demographic and highlighting the work of local social enterprise organisations. SE’s contribute significantly to our local economy with £123m during 2021-22 financial year.

Kelburn Hockey Club
The principal aim of Kelburne Hockey Club (KHC) is to develop sport and promote an active healthy lifestyle in the Renfrewshire community. The club has fulfilled this aim for over 50 years from its current base at Whitehaugh and, its success on both the domestic and European stage, has helped raise the profile of sport in the region. KHC actively maintains its links with local schools to ensure each new generation is given an opportunity to participate in sport.
The club provides access for all and offers sporting opportunities to everyone regardless of ability, gender, race or age. KHC’s current playing membership lives throughout Renfrewshire and ranges from children aged 5+ to veterans of 70+ years old and caters for those at youth and social participation to elite sports levels with many members and former members having represented Scotland and GB on the international stage.
